Discover Kaka'ako
Discover Kaka‘ako at Ward Centers is an opportunity for people from all around Oahu to come together and celebrate the core of Honolulu city life.
Keiki, adults, and all those in between are invited to come down to “Discover Kaka‘ako at Ward Centers” every second Saturday of the month. This event promises an exploration into the vast offerings of Kaka‘ako’s family activities and nightlife scene. So whether you love food, music or fashion, you are guaranteed to find something of interest to you at this premier event celebrating all things Kaka‘ako at Ward Centers!
In total, the Kaka‘ako District sits on top of 600 acres of land and consists of Piikoi, King, Punchbowl Streets, and Ala Moana Boulevard. Currently, the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) is working to redevelop the area with the goal of making Kaka‘ako “the most desirable urban place in Hawaii in which people can work, live, visit, learn and play”.
