Ward Centers Welcomes Four New Merchants

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  - 1/4/10 - Ward Centers welcomes four new merchants to its family of more than 135 shops and eateries.  Deuces Hawaii, Jams World, Ka Restaurant & Lounge, and Wraps & Rolls are all currently open at Ward Centre.

Deuces Hawaii – Deuces Hawaii, a local, family-owned online shoe boutique, opened its first retail store at Ward Centre adjacent to Rainbowtique.  Deuces Hawaii offers imported, affordable footwear for men and women, including limited edition shoes that cannot be found anywhere else on the island.

Jams World – Jams World offers men’s and women’s apparel, hats, bags, pillows, and bed spreads in vibrant color combinations and prints.  The fabric is of the highest quality and created in Japan using 100% spun crushed Rayon and printed with hand painted textile art licensed exclusively for Jams World.  Its contemporary casual lifestyle wear is designed and manufactured in Honolulu.  Jams World is located next to Genki Sushi on the ground floor.

Ka Restaurant & Lounge – Ka Restaurant & Lounge opened on the 2nd floor of Ward Centre on Dec. 18.  It serves modern fusion cuisine in a trendy atmosphere and offers dinner from Monday through Saturday and late night entertainment on Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m.; the restaurant is closed on Sundays.  Ka Restaurant & Lounge hosts “Shio” on Friday and "Ka Saturdays" on Saturday, its weekly 21-and-older club nights featuring DJs and dancing from 10 p.m.-2 a.m.

Wraps & Rolls – Wraps & Rolls, located streetfront at Ward Centre, specializes in freshly made wraps, sushi rolls and sweet treats.  Menu items include hapa rice sushi, summer wraps, turkey wraps, crab wraps, tortilla melts, crunchy jicama sticks, and smoothies.  The locally-owned eatery also offers “surprise” specials that may pop up any day of the week, such as lean ground teriyaki beef tortilla wrap, lean ground beef curry tortilla wrap, lean Korean BBQ ground beef tortilla wrap, and lean beef and veggie chili on hapa rice.
