Ward Centers Farmer’s Market Opens Oct. 20 at Ward Warehouse

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 10/9/09 – Beginning Tuesday, October 20, the Ward Warehouse parking lot will be filled with vendors offering fresh, locally-grown produce, foods and flowers at the new Ward Centers Farmer’s Market.  The Ward Centers Farmer’s Market will be operated by Mahiku Farms, which organizes local vendors who offer vegetables, fruits, cut flowers and plants, homemade foods, and baked goods.  Several Ward Centers merchants will also be hosting booths at the weekly farmer’s market.

When:   Every Tuesday, year-round, as of October 20

Time:    9am to 1pm

Where:   Ward Warehouse parking lot on Auahi Street
