Seven New Stores Open at Ward Centers

HONOLULU 10/20/09 - This fall, Ward Centers is welcoming seven new merchants to its family of more than 135 shops and eateries.  Two of the new stores have opened specifically for the holidays - Calendar Club and Go! Games.  

Trends Jodhpur - Located streetfront at Ward Centre, Trends Jodhpur opened in September and is the only store in Hawai‘i that offers exclusive, handcrafted furniture from India with unique designs reminiscent of the majestic days of the Maharajas and Maharanis.  All of the store’s heirloom furnishings are crafted from mango and teak woods, which have been naturally seasoned more than three to five years.  The boutique sells only one piece of each kind that will never be repeated, which adds to the exclusivity of its furniture collection.

Hawai‘i KiteWorks - This kiosk in Ward Warehouse is run by kite flyers who love to share the fun of kites.  Hawai‘i KiteWorks sells a large variety of kites including power kites, stunt kites, single-line kites and 3D kites.  They also sell accessories such as line, rods, handles, and repair tape.  The store’s operators also provide free kite lessons.

Waimea Sun - This new kiosk opened in September and is located at Ward Warehouse.  The store features colorful tie-dye and custom-designed clothing for the whole family including shirts, dresses, sarongs, skirts, and other casual apparel.  Waimea Sun’s artist/designer is onsite to create the color and design of your choice.  The most popular designs include Valentine hearts, ‘ukulele, water crystals, and stars.

Santa’s Pen - Located at the Ward Entertainment Center next to Roxy, Santa’s Pen offers Santa’s Pen branded merchandise, such as personalized Christmas ornaments, stockings and other holiday items.  The store also carries seasonal crystal-styled jewelry, banks and Joseph K products.

Calendar Club - A holiday favorite, Calendar Club returned to Ward Warehouse in October and is located between The Liquor Collection and T&C Surf.  With a variety of approximately 5,000 calendars and gifts, Calendar Club offers something for every interest.

Go! Games - Offering a large range of games for every age, Go! Games sells cards, electronic games, motion plush toys, puzzles, board games, and more.  The store is located next to the Calendar Club at Ward Warehouse.

Victoria Nail Salon - This full-service nail salon offers services such as pedicures, manicures, acrylic nails, cal gel nails, clear gel nails, boogie nite nails, and French nail tips.  Victoria Nail Salon is opening soon at Ward Warehouse.
