Whole Foods Market coming to Ward Centers

Whole Foods Market, the world's leading natural and organic foods supermarket, with 181 stores in North America and the United Kingdom, plans to open its first Hawaii store at Ward Centers. The 67,000-square-foot market will anchor the new Ward Village Shops, which is currently in the process of redevelopment. Whole Foods Market will occupy two stories on the Diamond Head side of the project. Construction is scheduled to begin this month and the store opening is planned for late 2008.
