Lau Lau Wood Works

Aaron Lau has been practicing woodwork for about three years.  This will be his first store, but he usually sells his woodwork to local galleries and craft fairs.  Lau is self-taught but his interest in woodwork came from his grandfather, who introduced the art of woodwork to Lau.  As a child Lau played with hammer and nails while being cared for by his grandparents. Lau usually works with koa wood but also incorporates acrylic and stones to create a truly unique design.  Customers will have the opportunity to watch him create a koa pen at the kiosk.  Bowls, boxes, and hair pieces are other products that can be found at Lau Lau Woodworks.
